In good weather conditions and in a wonderful setting, Videoton FC played their second friendly match of the summer pre-season against ND Mura, who finished their season in third place in the Slovenian league. The game was fairly even over the first ten minutes, with both teams trying to get the upper hand. Then an unfortunate own goal from Paulo Vinicius gave the host side an early lead. A Mura player escaped down the right, before crossing the ball in to the middle, with Vinicius trying to clear the ball for a corner, only to find the back of his own net. The assistant linesman flagged that the ball had gone over the line and the goal stood as a result.

The goal failed to stop Vidi from pressing forward in search of the equaliser. Paulo Sousa's team had more of the ball, and looked more active down both wings. However, the home defence remained solid with any danger that came their way, with few chances being created in the opening period. This was not by accident as the home side camped inside their own box for long spells, which resulted in their being very little space to play in to.

Videoton put their opponents under even more pressure after the half time break, and the substitutes also played a part in turning the game around. Perics made a good impact on the match, having chances to score shortly after he came on. Istvan Kovacs beat two men before hitting a good shot in to the far corner of the net to give Vidi their leveller. The home side tried to kill time following that goal, but there was still some action to follow, which would determine the outcome of the friendly. Following a very good build up, Oliveira scored a lovely goal, but equal praise should go to Perics, who laid on a lovely ball for him. So Vidi have won both of their friendly games in Slovenia, as they build up their fitness and intensity, with things looking very good at the moment.
