Tamas Vasko got his chance in the team half way through the season, and we can calmly say that he perfromed very well at the heart of the defence. He was one of the best players in the last game of the season at Ujpest. His last minute headed goal at home to Haladas will also be remembered for a long time as well.

"My performances during the autumn season were mixed, but this balanced out over the spring half and the team also played well. We completely deserved our second place finish. If we would have been a little bit luckier over the first half of the season, then we would have defended our championship. A lot will count on who our opponents will be in the Europa league, but we will have a good chance against anyone we come up against. We will be much wiser after the draw is made regarding this, and how long we can go in the competition. I hope that we can have a really good run in it. I will try and relax now until pre-season begins, and recharge myself, spending as much time as possible with my family" - said Tamas Vasko.
