Kecskemet are currently enjoying a good spell of form in the OTP league. They have won three of their last four games, with the other being a draw. This has helped them rise up the league and they currently occupy fifth place. KTE as they are also known, have a dangerous strike force, with the veteran Tokoli always likely to be a threat in front of goal. Laszlo Lencse is the another player who has scored goals this season. He is currently on loan from Videoton. Another reason for their success has been the improvement to their defence, with the experienced Bela Balogh partnering David Mohl, with the latter receiving a call up to the league representative XI squad. Wednesday's opponents did very well to beat Debrecen in the league cup semi-final, doing it over two-legs, which saw them emerge 5-1 winners on aggregate. 

Defender David Mohl came through the Vidi youth system, going on to become a regular first division player, first with Debrecen, and for the last two years with Kecskemet. The player spoke to his clubs website, saying the following: "I very much hope that we can be successful, and this would be my third league cup win. The situation is even more interesting as it was with Videoton, where I won my first two cup finals. I have dealt with the opponents naturally, as they are a good side, and a team that everyone wants to beat. I have links to Szekesfehervar, as I was also born there, and went on to spend many years living in the city. It is a different motivation and a prestige that works inside me, and it should not be a surprise when I say that the cup should go to Kecskemet" concluded Mohl. 

The cup has also drawn attention in the local area, with a good crowd expected to turn up on Wednesday. Reports also suggest that it could be a full house for the final, which would only add to the excitement of the match.
