Saturday's 7-0 win was one of the highest in Vidi's history

Siofok were comfortably beaten on Saturday at the Sostoi conceding four goals in the final ten minutes

Videoton scored seven times on Saturday, as they convincingly beat Siofok at the Sostoi stadium. The scoreline was one of the highest involving Videoton in their history. Matches where one side beats another by a margin of seven do not come along too often. A side needs to take the chances that comes along in a game, together with luck, and lots of concentration, and even then a big result is not guaranteed. Siofok's defence crumbled under pressure in the final 15 minutes of the game, with four goals finding the back of Milinte's net in the last nine minutes.

The 25th August 2007 saw Vidi entertain Tatabanya in a league match. The visitors had began the season in bad form, ending up relegated to the second division. They were to depart the Sostoi stadium 93 minutes later, on the back of a 7-0 hiding. The half time score was just 1-0 but Vidi ran away with it back in 2007 in the second half, just as they did last Saturday. The goalscorers that day were Dajic (2), Vayer, Farkas B., Simek, Dvéri and Sitku. Győr were another side to hit seven, but they did it the difficult way, away from home, when they thrashed ZTE 7-2 in 2009. Ujpest went one better in 2000 when they hit Debrecen 8-3!

The last eleven years have seen three matches in the league end with a 7-0 win.
