Paks away will be the final league match of 2011

Vidi visit fast improving Paks on Sunday looking to take home all three points

Videoton travel to Videoton on Sunday, in what will be their final league match of a successful 2011. Paks are at the top of the current form table, having recovered well from a difficult start to the season. Their extended run in the Europa league had an effect on their players, who now seem to have shaken that off. A win for Paulo Sousa's side will see them begin in third spot in the spring. They remain within striking distance of both Debrecen and Győri ETO, after the weekend results went the way of the red and blues. It will be both an important and difficult match on Sunday. Three points at the weekend will see Vidi continue to close that gap at the top, going into the second half of the season. The new players have had time to blend together and Saturday's 7-0 home thrashing of Siofok set the alarm bells rining to the rest of the teams in the OTP league.

Paks finished last season in a very respectable runners up position, just behind Videoton, who ended up winning their very first league title in the clubs history. They managed to beat two sides in the Europa league, before eventually losing to Scottish side Hearts, over two legs. Vidi met Paks in the first league game of the new season, in what was Paulo Sousa's first league match. That match produced a comfortable 4-0 home win in what was a good display of attacking football. The travelling Vidi fans will be looking for a similar display on Sunday.
