The draw for the fifth round of the Hungarian cup took place on Sunday evening, shortly after Vidi's 3-0 home win over Ujpest. Vidi were hoping for a good draw, with two division three sides in the hat, but they were paired with Haladas, in what will be a two legged affair. The first game will be played on Wednesday 30th November at the Sostoi stadium in Fehervar. Paulo Sousa will be hoping to take a good lead into the second leg, which will be played on the 3rd December in Szombathely. Vidi have already beaten Haladas by a single goal, thanks to a last minute effort from defender Tamas Vasko. It is interesting to note that the pair met in last season's Hungarian cup, with Vidi beating them 3-0 at home, before picking up an impressive 3-1 away win to make it 6-1 on aggregate. The second leg will be the final fixture this year, before the winter break begins.
