Six matches, six wins, scoring 16 and conceding just 3! This is Győri ETO's home record so far this season. This impressive record has helped the green and whites to second in the OTP league table, just behind leaders Debrecen. Ujpest, Haladas, Ferencvaros and Kecskemet have all left ETO park empty handed. ZTE and Vasas are the only sides to have found the back of Stevanovic' net. However, ZTE's goal there proved only a consolation one as Győr hit them for five!

That defeat also signalled the end of Janos Csank as manager, before being replaced by Laszlo Prukner. Győr are a well put together side, and like to aggressively close down their opponents, while building quick attacks aimed mainly towards their Georgian striker Aleksidze. They managed to replace the departing players in the summer with quality ones, and have a good spine as a team, which has helped them to get where they are now. Videoton faced Győri ETO at the Sostoi stadium in May, on their way to the league title.
