Videoton make the journey south to face Kaposvar on Saturday. However, the weekend kicks off with an all west Hungary derby match on Friday. Haladas make the journey to play Győri ETO, who have began the new season well, picking up maximum points from the first two matches. Győr are hard to beat on their own pitch, while Haladas are not the best of travellers. Saturday has a Budapest derby game, with Honved entertaining Vasas at the Bozsik stadium in Kispest. Honved have had a mixed start to the new campaign while Vasas are yet to pick up a point. Pecs, who were promoted last season to the top division have made an impressive start, which has seen them pick up six points from six.

Siofok will be looking to take advantage of Ujpest's bad start to the season, when the violets make the visit to the lake Balaton club. Siofok are always difficult to beat on their own pitch, with the club securing their first division status on the final day of last season. Paulo Sousa will be looking for maximum points when his Videoton side travel to play Kaposvar. Vidi picked up a good 4-0 win over Paks at the weekend, and will go into the match with confidence. Kaposvar have made several changes to their squad from last season, and they have not yet bonded. A win for the red and blues would see them up among the leading pack , which is were they have been for the last two seasons.

Sunday begins with a match in Miskolc, when DVTK face Kecskemet. Newly promoted DVTK have made a good start to the season. They beat ZTE 4-1 at home and followed that up with a 1-1 draw away at Ferencvaros on Sunday. Even more noticable was the fact that DVTK played out the match with nine players, having had two of them sent off. Debrecen will be looking to finish the season in the top three following a disappointing season last year. They have made a good start picking up maximum points. They will go into their home match with Ferencvaros looking to make it three wins from three. The final game involves Paks who come up against Papa. Paks will have a big Europa league match on Thursday against Scottish side Hearts, so they will be hoping to shake off any tiredness against a Papa side who have also began the new season with full points.
