The only thoughts at Wednesday's press conference were about the Super cup final on Friday. This will be Paulo Sousa's first key match in charge, as he takes his place on the bench. There has been plenty of interest shown from the media, as Videoton look to make it a winning start to the new season. The new manager did say that he had seen a few matches involving Kecskemet. One of those was the big Hungarian cup final, which saw the violets win 3-2. Sousa feels that KTE are a well balanced and sympathetic side, but also added that if his team continued to play as they have done so far in pre-season., then there will not be too many problems in beating Friday's opponents. Sousa has also confirmed that he is only thinking about one or two positions, with regards to his line up. The local paper felt that it would be a disappointment if Vidi do not emerge winners of the Super cup. The Portuguese manager explained that he had come to Hungary to win. Even though most of the opponents will be giving their maximum to beat his side, he is only thinking about winning. He would also like his players to adopt the same approach.
