Videoton face prestigious opponents on Friday, with a friendly match against Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow. The famous club  were formed back in 1923, as the club of the October revolution, and play in red and green. They have twice won the Russian premier league, first in 2002, when they ended Spartak Moscow's domination, and then again in 2004. They have also picked up the Russian cup five times. Last season saw them end in fifth place, ten points adrift of the top sides. They played a total of 30 games, picking up 13 wins, while drawing 9 and losing 8. Their forward player, Oleksandr Aliev was the third highest goalscorer in their domestic league, scoring 14 goals during the 2010 league season. He is their most valuable player at the moment. They also recently spent 5 million euros on Bosnian international midfielder Senijad Ibricsicsert, from Hajduk Split. Videoton will face a stern test on Friday, against very strong opponents.
