Videoton lost by a single goal in the second friendly of their stay in Spain. The winner came from the penalty spot, despite Videoton having the better of the first half.

Videoton played out their second pre-season friendly of their Spanish training camp. Gyorgy Mezey's side came up against local side Cadiz CF, in the glorious sunshine, and on a perfect pitch. The facilities, which are roughly 20km from Vidi's base in Spain, was of a high standard. Vidi lined up without Andre Alves, Akos Elek and Martin Izing, who were all rested, due to slight knocks. First team keeper Mladen Bozsovics was also rested as he watched from the stands. Videoton began the game on the attack and they looked the more likelier side to break the deadlock. A move on 7 minutes, involving Szakaly and Hidvegi, ended up with the ball at the feet of Vasziljevics, but he failed to hit the target. The manager of Cadiz CF was then sent to the stands by the referee in the 13th minute, after he contested a penalty decision, which went against his side. Videoton continued to press, with a 23rd minute Gosztonyi free kick ending up with Sandor, but the midfielder was not able to put his side ahead. Brazilian trialist Cesar, could have put the red and blues ahead a minute later, but his shot went inches past the right post.

Gosztonyi crossed after 36 minutes, but Vasziljevics' strike was well saved by the Cadiz keeper. The Spanish sides best chance came a minute before half time, but that effort struck the crossbar. Sandor still had time to get on the scoresheet, but his shot from 24 meters went over the bar. Sebok did well in the Vidi goal at the start of the second half, denying Cadiz the lead on 53 minutes. Nikolics then had a good chance 4 minutes later, but Vidi were not as dangerous in the second half as they had been in the first. Sebok remained solid in goal, and the defence were on hand to clear any danger. The 83rd minute saw a nice attack involving Vujovics - Nikolics - Lencse, with the latter almost putting his side into the lead. The game was settled in the 91st minute, following a mistake from Milanovics inside the box, which resulted in the referee pointing to the spot.  The Spaniards made no mistake to secure a 1-0 win.
