Videoton are once again in pre-season action this Saturday, with kick off at 14:00pm. This is the final friendly of a busy week, which has already seen Vidi play two friendlies. Those both brought wins, so Gyorgy Mezey will be hoping that his side can make it a hatrick of victories inside a week. The squad will be heading off to their training camp in Spain, following the match. Saturday's opponents were founded back on the 19th May 1914 under the name of FK Vojvodina Novi Sad. They have been battling to be the top side in Serbia, along with Crvena Zvezda and Partizan. They have managed to win the domestic title twice, back in the 1965/1966 season, and then later in the 1988/89 league season. Vujvodina have gone on to become the third most successful club in their country, since the end of the Second World War. Zvezda have won the championship 25 times, while Partizan have achieved a top place finish 22 times. 

Vojvodina ended the 2010/2011 autumn season in third place, although they have a good chance to improve on that. Partizan currently have an eight points lead, but CZ, who are in second, are just three points ahead of Saturday's opponents. So they will be going out to try and get second place in the coming spring season. The 15 league games to date have brought 9 wins, 5 draws and just 1 defeat. Perhaps the best footballer ever to have worn the Vojvodina shirt is 32 year old striker Nikola Lazetics. The 25 times capped international has also played in Turkey, while he has also made over 100 appearances in Seria A.
