The popular defender was delighted to become a father at the end of July
+ I think that on the whole we can all be satisfied with what we did over the autumn season, as we picked up the results, which has helped us build up a seven points lead at the top of the table. We also currently enjoy an eight point lead over our big rivals Debrecen. This would probably make our job a little easier, than compared to this time last year. I am not the type of person who analyses, and I have not really thought about what the differences are with this side, and the one from last season. I have also not put much thought into why we we lost top place at the end in the spring. I think that most people can see that this side has a different togetherness, and concentration than the last league campaign. If I have to choose my favourite game from the autumn season, then I would pick the game at Kaposvar, where we picked up a nice win. The early goal set us up nicely on our way. The game was not a hard as we had thought it would be beforehand, even though we picked up a very important three points.
Which game did you feel yourself playing at the peak?
+ Honestly? I was not that satisfied with my own form over the autumn season, and I know that I made some big mistakes during the first half of the season. However, there were still some good moments, like the game with Paks, where I thought things went well.
What were the worst moments of the season?
+ I think that if you ask anyone from the team, they would say that it was the home defeat to Honved. I still cannot explain what happened in that match, or why things turned out that way. This is football I suppose.
- What would you pick as the best goal of the season?
+ Andre Alves' first goal against Haladas was the best, where he curled the ball from a tight angle in to the back of the Haladas net. I thought that it was a very good goal.
- Long break, rest, celebration....
+ This will be my first Christmas that I can spend with my son, as I will also be together with the family to celebrate. Our family is quite big, and our closest family numbers 13. As to what will be the first present, I am not sure. Perhaps it will be a football, or a small pair of football boots. We still have a bit of time to decide what to get, as we only celebrate our orthodox Christmas in January. The break will be long and after a bit of rest, I will be moving about to keep myself fit, but I can hardly wait for the season to continue.
