Goran Vujovics is hoping for a better spring

The Montenegro forward is hoping to give more to his side over the second part of the season

Both Sandor Hidvegi and Goran Vujovics have recently been out with injuries, but both are now slowly returning to training. They will have to wait until the start of the spring season to start playing competitive football again. Although the first team squad can now look forward to a break and time to relax, Vujovics will have very little of that, as he bids to build up his fitness and be ready for the start of the new season. He will be training on his own over the break, so that he can be ready for the pre-season campaign in January. "Unfortunately, apart from the 2008-09 season, where I scored 10 goals in 24 matches, neither last season nor this autumn have been mine. I suffered serious injuries, both last season and now during the autumn season, that has just finished. Despite the fact that I started well in August, once again I had to miss out for a lengthy period, after I turned my ankle during a training session. I played a total of 6 matches during  the autumn season, scoring 2 goals in those games. I am planning a totally different spring season, and my aim is to get back into the side and become a useful member of a side that is bidding to win the league title. I hope that I will be luckier now and manage to avoid further injuries! I am very pleased that the team played so well over the first part of the season, and the 7 points lead is better than last year. However, we have a very tough spring ahead of us. I will be giving my maximum to make sure that I can contribute as much as I can to the team."
