Alves is the best outfield player in Hungary

Hungarian Sports newspaper "Nemzeti Sport" announced the best players of the autumn season

For those supporters that have sat through the autumn season, it will not come as any major surprise to see the final result: Andre Alves has come out on top with 96 points, ahead of second place Debrecen player Czvitvkovics and third place Schembri of Ferencvaros. Alves also finished top of last season's autumn poll, carried out by Hungarian sports paper, Nemzeti Sport. The Brazilian forward was delighted to hear the news, which confirms the fact that he has also scored the most goals in the domestic league. His record of 14 goals in 14 league matches says everything. He also missed the opening game of the season, which was the 1-1 away draw at Siofok.

"If I look at the last year, then perhaps I finished the autumn season in a richer form. I managed to score more and even set up 3-4 goals as well. I also felt that I have performed well in most of the matches I have played in. I always try to perform to a good standard, although this is not as easy as many would think. First of all there is the winter break in Hungary, and when I come back to Hungary after the break, it is still very cold, while it is summer back home. I do not like the cold that much. The other thing is that my family do not always come back with me, and I miss them very much, when they are not with me." said Alves, who always celebrates a goal by forming a heart with his hands, which is aimed at his wife.
