The views of the two managers

Gyorgy Mezey was a pleased man following the 4-2 away win

Gyorgy Mezey: "Today's game was an excellent one, where we played nicely and well for 80% of the game. We produced a perrformance, which was both cultured and combative. Kecskemet were given no chance in the game, and there were also very good performances from players like Balazs Farkas and Andre Alves. THe fact that they had a disputed penalty will not dampen my mood. This was seen and confirmed by the many who watched the game on TV, but I do not wish to talk any more on that incident. Their second goal came after an upsetting mistake, but I will say once more, that we played a very lovely and combative game today, which saw us win. We are top of the league so I will not let that goal upset me.

Tomiszlav Szivics: "Videoton are currently a far better side than we are. We still have lots of hard work ahead of us. We try to stay with them as much as we could in the first half. We conceded goals following individual errors. We also really felt Bela Balogh's absence in this match. We will have to work on those mistakes that we made, and at the same time have to look forward. We are not in an easy position at the moment, and we do not have too much time either. I would like to congratulate Videoton, who deserved to take all three points from us."
