June 2nd 2008 was the last time that Videoton were successful against ZTE. That match ended in a 3-1 win with Gabor Horvath, Daniel Nagy and Illes Sitku were on target. The following 4 league games failed to produce a win for the red and blues, but that all changed on Tuesday night, with the good 2-1 away win. ZTE won 2-0 at home, and then picked up a 1-1 draw at the Sostoi in season 2008/2009. Last season saw a 2-1 home defeat and a 2-2 away draw at the ZTE Arena. That meant that Vidi have not beaten the team from west Hungaray in two seasons. However, that can now be consigned to the history books and Videoton will be looking to do the double over ZTE, when the two meet at the Sostoi, in the Spring.
