Mihaly Fábián took his refereeing badge back in 1994, working his way up the county leagues. Fabian quickly became a first division referee in 2002. The experienced official then progressed to become a FIFA international official in 2007. It will be his first match as a referee involving a Videoton match this season.

Sunday's match official has not yet taken charge of a Vidi match this season. He was most recently in the middle in April 2014 in a league match against Paks. Fabian will be assisted by Zsolt Varga and Tamas Markus, while the fourth official will be Gabor Varga.
