Videoton quickly led in this pre season friendly game in Slovakia, through a Vujovics goal after 2 minutes. Gosztonyi crossed from the wing with both Djordjic and Vujovics arriving, with the latter scoring the games only goal. Vidi created several chances in this match, but the forwards were perhaps not as sharp as they should have been, had it been a league game. DAC's keeper performed well in goal and kept the scored down.

Gyorgy Mezey: "I used this game against DAC to try things out. It half worked. Some of the players are ready for Sunday's game at Siofok, while others, especially in their heads, are not. I will consider this when I choose my team for that game."
