Videoton made the journey over to Budapest, to play in a friendly with Ujpest at the weekend. Vidi fielded a mixed team: Tujvel – Andics, Vaskó, Milanovic, Hídvégi – Nagy, Szakály, Szolnoki, Mutumba – Vujovics, Nikolics. They led at half time thanks to a goal from right back Marjo Andics, who hit a free kick from 22 meters in to the top right hand corner. The second half began with Vujovics releasing Szakaly to score the second. Nikolics scored to make the game safe, while Mate rounded off a good performance. The second half line up was: Somodi – Margitics, Rása, Fejes, Présinger – Gyurcsó, Ponczók, Soós, Baracskai – Máté, Olasz.
