Gyorgy Mezey spoke about the friendly defeat to Slovan Bratislava after the game. "This game was completely different to those that have been played so far. The players dealt well with the pace of the game throughout and they also concentrated better. However, I would still stress following this defeat that this tour is a good mirror, and shows us exactly, what we still need to do to reach that international level.

We played a different defensive system against Slovan, than we have done so far, and I think it worked well. They were clever, and solved the problems that came their way. The defence was stable and did not open up, while we got hold of the ball at the back instead of in the opponents half. The goal that we conceded, which I do not understand how we did, only came when we had several youngsters on the pitch. I would like to play this system in our Europa League away leg against Maribor. We still have to work very hard but I have no complaints with the way the players are training."
